1. About these terms

The Site is an online directory and lead-generation platform that enables prospective franchisees to discover franchise opportunities and submit enquiries to franchisors of their choice. We are not a party to any subsequent agreement between you and a franchisor.

3. Information and disclaimers

• Listing content (including investment levels, territories, claims and imagery) is supplied by the franchisors and published in good faith. We do not independently verify every claim.
• Editorial content, guides and articles are provided for general information only and do not constitute legal, financial, tax or investment advice. You should take independent professional advice before entering any franchise agreement.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties as to the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the information on the Site.

4. Submitting enquiries

When you submit an enquiry, your details are passed to the franchisor(s) you have selected so they can respond directly. By submitting an enquiry you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are happy for it to be shared with those franchisors. The handling of your enquiry by a franchisor is governed by their own privacy and data-protection practices.

5. Accounts (advertisers)

If you create an advertiser account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity carried out under your account. You must provide accurate company details and ensure all listing content you upload is lawful, accurate and not misleading. We may suspend or remove listings that breach these Terms or applicable law (including the British Franchise Association code of ethics, ASA / CAP code, and consumer-protection legislation).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site or any of its data for unsolicited marketing, scraping, or to compile a competing directory;
• upload viruses, malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its underlying systems;
• impersonate any person or business, or submit false enquiries;
• use the Site in a way that breaches any applicable law or third-party rights.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including the UK Franchise Opportunities name, logo, design, editorial articles and software, is owned by or licensed to Infinity Business Growth Network Limited and is protected by copyright, database right and trade-mark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not otherwise copy, republish or commercially exploit our content without our prior written consent.

Franchisor logos and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners and are reproduced with permission for the purpose of the directory listing.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Subject to that:

• we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your decision to enter (or not to enter) any franchise agreement, or from the conduct of any franchisor;
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data; and
• our total liability to you in connection with the Site is limited to £100.

9. Third-party links

The Site contains links to third-party websites and franchisor sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and following a link is at your own risk.

11. Changes
