Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 May 2026

This policy explains how Infinity Business Growth Network Limited, trading as UK Franchise Opportunities, uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember information about your visit (such as preferences and login state). We also use similar technologies such as local storage.

2. Our approach

In line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, we set only strictly necessary cookies by default. Analytics and any other non-essential cookies are only set after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer or the button below.

3. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

Required for the website to function. These do not need consent.

  • ukfo:cookie-consent — stores your cookie choice. 12 months.
  • ukfo:compare — local storage holding your enquiry list. Persists until cleared.
  • Supabase auth (sb-*) — keeps you logged in to an advertiser account. Session / 1 year.
  • Session / CSRF tokens — protect form submissions. Session.

Analytics (consent required)

Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Only set if you accept.

  • Aggregated page-view and event counters. Up to 13 months.

Marketing (consent required)

Not currently set. If we introduce marketing cookies in the future, we will update this list and re-prompt for consent before they are placed.

4. Third-party cookies

Some pages may embed content from third parties (for example, video players or franchisor websites). Those providers may set their own cookies, governed by their own policies. We do not load such embeds until you have given consent for the relevant category.

5. How to control cookies

You can:

  • change your preferences using the "Cookie preferences" button above or in the footer at any time;
  • block or delete cookies in your browser settings (though this may break parts of the site);
  • use browser-level "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals — we honour these as a refusal of non-essential cookies.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version.
