🎭 Could running your own theatre school be the next step for you?
WHAM Theatre Schools has an established musical theatre branch in Medway and Swale, and we're looking for a new Principal and Franchise Owner to take the lead!
Here's the great news: the school is already up and running! Around 30 children currently attend three weekly after-school classes, with established venues and teaching support all in place. You'd be walking into a warm, welcoming group of children ready to meet their new Principal!
What you'd be taking on:
- Around 30 children enrolled across three weekly after-school classes (with trials booked in and further interest)
- 60-minute musical theatre sessions combining singing, dancing and acting Established venues and teaching support Full administrative systems and operations manual - The branch has been run remotely from head office, so it's ready for someone local with the energy to grow it! There's scope to introduce WHAM Bamz classes for ages 3 to 5, add extra weekly classes, and build links with local schools, youth services and holiday activities. What a wonderful thing to make your own!
This is a hands-on role. You'd lead and teach the weekly sessions, getting to know your students and watching them grow in confidence week by week (which we hope you'd find incredibly rewarding!)
The model works brilliantly when the Principal is also teaching the classes, however, there is scope for a Non-Teaching Franchisee & Principal if this is you.
You don't need previous business experience, but the desire and passion to run your own business is necessary. The training and systems from WHAM HQ are here to help you learn and support you every step of the way.
The usual £1,995 franchise fee has been waived for this opportunity. There is a compulsory £495 Setup Fee, which includes:
- Enhanced DBS processing and background checks - Principal training with CPD certification in safeguarding, SEND inclusion and online first aid Handover support - Starter materials: banners, flyer designs, business cards and Principal uniform - Full administrative systems and operations manual
